Reflag v1.0
ppe for PCBoard v15.0+
This program is SHAREWARE. It is totally uncrippled, with no delays or nag screens.
If you find it of merit, a donation of $5 would be appreciated by Atlantis Software.

Disclaimer: None whatsoever. No one here is silly enough to
believe that we have to worry about a program like
this doing any damage whatsoever to your software,
system or scruples.
If anything weird happens, you got hold of a
modified (probably sabotaged) version.
Description: Saves flagged files whenever a user loses connection. Notifies user
upon next login and offers opportunity to reflag the files for
download or clear them. Records are stored in separate files within
the reflag.ppe directory, generated with the user record number and
initial.
Files included:
file_id.diz bbs description
reflag.doc thisfile
reflag.hdr configurable header file - standard Atlantis BBS format given
reflag.ppe login component to monitor download queue and alert user
reflagx.ppe logoff component to store flagged files
Installation: Recommended: access reflag.ppe from your logon script questionnaire.
1. Create a directory for the REFLAG.PPE files.
They may be in a common ppl/ppe directory,
since the filenames are all similar.
2. Unzip (or move) all REFLAG.PPE files into
the designated directory.
If you have no current entry in your logon script designation:
3. Start PCBSETUP
4. Select "B File Locations"
5. Select "D New User/Logon/off Questionnaires"
6. Select "Name/Loc of Logon Script Quest."
7. Enter the complete path and filename of REFLAG.PPE
8. Hit "ESC" to back out, until asked
"Save configuration files (Y/N/Q=Quick Save) ?"
Answer "Y" or "Q" to save the change
If you have any entry(ies) in your logon script designation:
3. Create a LOGON file (or name of your choice)
4. Find a place for the LOGON file (c:\pcb\gen is usual)
5. Enter path and name for the LOGON file as in 3-8 above
6. List each item to be accessed at logon in the LOGON file,
one item per line. Each ppe access must begin with a !,
followed by the path and file name, as follows:
!c:\pcb\ppl\REFLAG.PPE
Recommended: access reflagx.ppe from pcbtext record 192.
1. Activate the pcbtext editor:
mkpcbtxt (path)pcbtext
2. F3 to select record number
3. Enter 192 (return)
4. In the record, enter ! and complete path and filename
of REFLAG.PPE, as follows:
!c:\pcb\ppl\REFLAGX.PPE
5. Hit "ESC" to close and automatically save the pcbtext
file.
6. Repeat this procedure for each of your other pcbtext
files as needed (different language, etc.). They'll
all be the same English, but at least they'll be saved!
You may access these wherever you like, but we KNOW that the
logon script questionnaire location works (and in a LOGON file
accessed from there), and pcbtext record 192 will activate the
flagfile save if the user LOSES CARRIER, as well as logs off.
It's the LOST CARRIER that really matters to the users.
REFLAG.HDR is a simple textfile using PCBoard colourcodes and
macros. The sample given is a standard Atlantis BBS header, but
may be modified or replaced with any text editor (PCBedit is perfect)
as desired.
